Link Aadhaar to Gas Connection Via IVRS Method


 Gas Subsidy : Link up Aadhar with Bank Account.

If you are going to link your Aadhaar with your Gas connection this post will help you. The LPG Subsidy goes directly to the Gas Connection Holder's Bank Account. In order to receive LPG subsidy that is offered by the Indian Government, you have to link your Aadhar Card to the Bank Account as well as Gas Connection.


Link Aadhaar to LPG connection through online mode
Following some simple steps explains the procedure to link Aadhaar to LPG gas connection online
1: Go to the official website of UIDAI (https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSelfSeedingpds.aspx) and enter all the required information.
2: Select the Benefit Type as “LPG” since you want to link your Aadhaar Card to LPG connection. Then you mention the Scheme Name according to your LPG connection, for example, “BPCL” for Bharat Gas connections and “IOCL” for Indane connections.
3: Select the Distributor Name from the given list and enter your LPG consumer number.
4: Enter your mobile number, email address and Aadhaar number and submit your information.
5: Once you click on submit, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID which needs to be entered and submitted to complete the process.
6: After successful registration of your request, the details provided will be verified by the officers. Once verified, the notification will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.


Process to Link Aadhaar to Gas Connection Via IVRS Method:
Follow some simple steps to link Aadhaar through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System)

Step 1: Go to the official website of your gas distributor to find the IVRS contact details.
Step 2: Call on the respective IVRS number.
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number and confirm your details.
Step 4: Follow the instructions to link Aadhaar Card to Gas connection.


Submission of Aadhaar-LPG link application to the distributor (Manual Application Form Filling)

The application can be submitted to the distributor through following steps:
  • Take the print out of the application form from concerned gas agency
  • Now fill all the required details
  • Enter your LPG ID
  • Enter the other details
  • After filling the form, visit your LPG Distributor and submit the application
  • Collect the acknowledgement slip
  • The filled form will further be verified and your Aadhaar card details will be successfully updated

Link Aadhaar-LPG via call centre:
Register your mobile number at LPG gas company. Call at 18000-2333-555 and provide required details to link Aadhaar and Bank Account and follow the instruction. This service is available all over India. 


Multipile Bank Account Linked up with Aadhar: 
If you have multiple bank accounts and all have been linked up with Aadhaar your LPG subsidy will be credited to the one in which you have seeded the Aadhar latest (the most recent one). It will be credited into the account which has been last updated with your Aadhar number.

How To Change Bank Account For Receiving LPG Subsidy Amount
You can change bank account to receive gas subsidy, if you have two bank accounts linked with Aadhaar

  • Visit your new bank in which you already have a bank account.
  • Give fresh request to link your bank account. 
The old linked account will automatically removed from subsidy.

Linking Aadhaar to Mobile Number by Using IVR
Step 1: Dial in the toll-free number 14546 from a mobile phone.
Step 2: The IVR (interactive voice response) after it system verify your nationality. Press 1 from your phone to verify that you have the Indian citizen.
Step 3: The IVR will then ask you to share your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
Step 4: System will repeat the last four-digits of the Aadhaar number. Press 1 for confirmation.
Step 5: Next, the IVR will ask to share the registered mobile number. The UIDAI will then send an OTP to the mobile number.
Step 5:  Now system will ask your permission to use your name, photo and date of birth by the telecom operator, confirm it. 
Step 6: After it enter the OTP correctly.
Step 7: On entering the OTP, press on 1 to complete the Aadhaar and mobile number re-verification.
You can use mAadhar app to link your mobile number with Aadhaar.
